Description

The role involves operating batching, mixing, and production equipment, driving forklifts, labeling, packing, and collaborating with the production team to meet or exceed quality and productivity goals.

• Operate batching, mixing, and production equipment for block, bagged, liquid, or packaged goods.
• Measure and maintain accurate weights and quality on the production line.
• Apply labels to pallets, bags, containers, and shippers.
• Drive forklift to transport items and load/unload trucks.
• Review inventory levels and complete inventory forms for raw material ordering.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Interface with office staff on work‑order completions and ensure proper quantities.
• Maintain a clean work area and wear appropriate PPE.
• Build effective relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
• Promptly resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Record finished‑good production on worksheets.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficient in English communication and teamwork.
• Adaptable to fast‑paced manufacturing environment with high quality standards.
• Basic mathematical skills for production sheets and scheduling.
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Experience with computerized batching/PLC systems.
• Forklift training as required by OSHA.
