What you would be doing

- Reads and interprets plans and blueprints to produce solid surface counter tops within specifications
- Inspects and verifies quality of finished work pieces
- Glues edging on and create required profile
- Grinds, sands, cleans, and/or polishes surfaces
- Makes sink and plumbing cut outs as specified on the template
- Observes and ensure adherence to all safety procedures while on the production floor
- Operates power tools of various sizes to customize solid surface materials
- Maintains workstation in a clean and orderly manner

- Able to lift 30lbs regularly and 50lbs often
- Able to work with hand tools using wrist and fine manipulation for extended periods of time.
- Must be hard working, motivated, well organized and task oriented.

- Able to withstand exposure to water (hands/feet) for extended periods of time
- Demonstrated knowledge of hand woodworking tools and the operation of power tools such as table saw, chop saw etc
- Strong communication (both written and verbal)
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read units of measurement
- Basic computer skills, MS Office
