The Data Center Operations Engineer works the first shift (06:00‑14:00 CT) and is responsible for delivering best‑practice systems operations and problem resolution across all data‑center electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, and cooling equipment.
The role focuses on maintaining 100% uptime of building systems such as fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC, plumbing, controls, and emergency power equipment while ensuring safety compliance and proper documentation of system readings.
Physical demands include frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders up to 30 ft, lifting at least 50 lb, and working outdoors in all seasons; the position is onsite in Richardson, TX and may require holiday and emergency work.
