The Leasing Consultant acts as the primary sales and customer‑service representative for the community, greeting prospective residents, identifying their housing needs, and presenting the property’s features to secure lease agreements. This role also supports resident relations and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations and high resident satisfaction, contributing to occupancy goals and retention.
- Greet and qualify prospects, guide tours, and present community features and benefits.
- Process applications and leasing documents in line with company standards.
- Conduct market surveys, generate marketing ideas, and participate in outreach events.
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents, handling communications, lease renewals, and satisfaction initiatives.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries and service requests.
- Maintain accurate leasing files, traffic logs, reports, and document all interactions.
- Collect non‑cash rent payments, issue receipts, and assist with property inspections.
- Support the Property Manager and Assistant Manager with daily administrative tasks and reporting.

This full‑time, on‑site position requires weekend and holiday availability for tours, events, and operational coverage. The role demands frequent walking, standing, climbing stairs, and the ability to lift light items, as well as a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation for work‑related travel.
- Minimum 1 year leasing or sales experience preferred; strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and leasing compliance (training provided); proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi/OneSite preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays; possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
