As a Heavy Equipment Operator I you will operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders at one of our recycling facilities, adhering to strict safety procedures that protect all landfill employees.
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with safety policies
- Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; keep accurate records
- Move and position raw materials and finished components using material‑moving equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures for equipment operation and maintenance
- Occasionally handle objects weighing less than 30 lb

Candidates must have at least one year of heavy‑equipment experience, be over 18, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. You should be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job and be willing to complete a pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
Success in this role comes from working independently, taking accountability for safety, communicating effectively with teammates, and solving problems on the spot. The work environment includes exposure to typical landfill conditions such as dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
