Perform preliminary and detailed engineering design tasks for water resources and related civil engineering projects including:
Prepares plans, specifications, and cost estimates, in support of final bid packages
Participates in project decisions regarding technical approaches, feasibility, cost, construction approaches, and scheduling performance
Performs numerical modeling in support of stormwater and drainage improvements projects
Participates in design activities and meetings between project team members, subcontractors, and client managers
Prepares written and graphic reports and makes presentations
Under direction prepares various draft documents, including reports and technical memoranda
Performs 1D and 2D riverine hydraulic modeling

Flood protection and resilience
Availability and willingness to travel
HEC-RAS, HEC- HMS or other Modelling experience highly desired
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering,
Stormwater hydrology and hydraulics
All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Stormwater management and drainage infrastructure permitting and design, preferably locally.
EIT preferred
AutoCAD, Microstation, and Matlab experience preferred
0-2 years of experience with stormwater, floodplain or site civil engineering
