The Managing Consultant will lead projects in medical affairs strategy, integrated evidence planning, real-world evidence study design, and AI-enabled analytics. They will create solutions for evidence generation, data utilization, and omnichannel scientific communications while ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance. The role also involves advising clients on AI-driven predictive analytics and supporting thought leadership through white papers and presentations.
In addition to project delivery, the consultant will manage work plans, staffing, budgets, and multiple concurrent engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for clients. They will coach and mentor junior consultants, lead team meetings, and collaborate with Directors on progress reporting and practice development. Participation in sales initiatives and expanding Guidehouse’s footprint in tech-enabled medical affairs is also expected.
Candidates must hold a BA/BS in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline and have at least four years of medical affairs experience in pharma, biotech, or consulting, with strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks. Desired expertise includes holistic medical strategy development, real-world evidence study execution, digital health platforms, AI analytics, and data interpretation from sources such as CMS or IQVIA. Advanced degrees, strong teamwork, and excellent communication skills are preferred; travel up to 20% and U.S. work authorization are required.
