Tasks

-Manage day-to-day engineering and operational support for gas generators, power turbines, gas compressors, and their ancillary systems across the East region. -Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the rotating machinery discipline. -Support troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of complex rotating machinery issues. -Work closely with site teams and central engineering to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance interventions. -Lead and provide technical support for compressor overhauls and major rotating machinery projects. -Provide technical assurance and ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and best practices. -Support condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and performance trending. -Lead investigations into equipment failures and reliability issues, recommending long-term improvements. -Oversee fleet management activities including OEM service bulletins, oil sampling, borescope inspections, engine logbooks, and spares support. -Act as the first point of contact for rotating machinery operations support, collaborating with OEMs and ISPs. -Contribute to outage planning, dry gas seal replacements, and major engine inspection scopes.

What You Bring

-Full UK car driving licence -Solid understanding of maintenance, reliability, and performance monitoring principles -Capable of writing or supporting technical scopes for rotating machinery overhauls -Ability to interpret technical documentation, vibration data, and OEM guidance -Experience supporting live operational sites and outage execution -Familiarity with Siemens SGT400/SGT750, Solar Titan 130, Siemens A20 & A35 (Rolls-Royce Avon / RB211) or similar OEM machines -HNC/HND (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering -Proven experience in heavy-duty rotating machinery -Strong technical knowledge and experience with gas turbines and/or gas compressors, ideally in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Process industry
