EHS Plant Specialist

Description

Under the direction of the EHS Manager, you will assist in developing, implementing, and supporting safety and environmental programs at the Mosel facility to improve performance. You will collaborate with employees, regulatory agencies, and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. This role contributes directly to Rehlko’s mission of creating an energy‑resilient future.

• Conduct accident investigations.
• Administer OSHA‑required safety programs (hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, PPE, machine guarding).
• Perform EHS audits and follow up with corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety improvement projects such as ergonomics, awareness, and recognition programs.
• Address employee EHS concerns and issues.
• Deliver EHS training sessions.
• Support the facility First Responder Squad and attend monthly EHS Committee meetings.
• Assist with divisional ISO compliance and support the KOS Improvement System.
• Manage environmental programs including stormwater, wastewater, waste, Title V, and remediation projects.
• Liaise with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in EHS or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in environmental health and safety.
• Experience working with union groups (preferred).
• Familiarity with Gensuite (a plus).

• Salary range $69,800–$87,950, based on experience, education, and location.
