Business Line Controller - US Motion Drive Products

Description

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Business Line Controller will serve as a strategic finance leader for Motion Drive Products' United States Business Line. Based on‑site in New Berlin, WI, the role involves acting as a trusted advisor to the Business Line Manager, interpreting financial data, spotting trends, and recommending actions to improve performance.

The position supports the Business Line United States, Motion Drive Products, working closely with management and key functional partners. It entails translating strategy into actionable business plans, overseeing forecasting, monitoring performance, and ensuring transparent, reliable financial information.

• Partner with business leaders to define and execute financial strategy for the Business Line.
• Translate strategy into business plans, set measurable targets, and lead forecasting processes.
• Analyze performance data, identify issues, and advise management on corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain tools and processes for transparent, reliable financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, country, and regulatory standards.
• Lead the finance team for the United States Motion Drive Product site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of senior finance, controlling, or FP&A experience in large or global organizations.
• Proven teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with influence capability.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred: knowledge of product costing, SAP, and Power BI.
• Preferred: experience in a make‑to‑order manufacturing environment.
