Run, lace, terminate, and dress network and power cables.
Conduct monthly inspections and generate environmental alarms for the NOC.
Configure equipment using serial connections or TCP/IP for proper telemetry/alarm data.
Interface professionally with third-party co-location providers and vendors.
Install and mount hardware, including racks and bays.
Read and interpret technical work orders, project drawings, and manufacturer installation documentation.
Work independently with live AC/DC power equipment.
Ensure system operation, reliability, and quality for off-air towers, satellite earth stations, head-end, and hub site equipment.
Perform, document, and inspect quarterly preventive maintenance on HVAC, generators, DC battery and rectifier plants, and other facility network assets.
Act as eyes and hands for the NOC during troubleshooting.
Follow company procedures for troubleshooting, testing, and routine or periodic maintenance.
Participate in rotating on-call duties as required.
Complete work orders accurately and perform break/fix troubleshooting on equipment, lines, and DC power.
Install, test, and commission small DC power plants (200A–1500A).
