- Develop and optimize design solutions for new and existing IGC Core Product.
- Coordinate activities between technical specialists to achieve optimized designs.
- Collaborate with suppliers and provide technical support to manufacturing engineers where needed.
- Apply expertise in machine design and turbomachinery manufacturing processes.
- Manage work to meet project cost, schedule, and quality targets.
- Utilize CAD and 3D modeling tools effectively.
- Lead or participate in product and component cost-improvement initiatives.
- Present at technical review gates; prepare design reports and prepare and maintain design standards.

- Design to meet functional, cost, aerodynamic, vibration, stress/life, manufacturability, and assembly requirements.
- Skilled in applying engineering calculations, finite element analysis, and problem-solving methods to optimize mechanical systems.
- Master’s degree (M.E. / M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on expertise with core compressor components, including pinions, bull gears, rotors, volute casings, labyrinth seals, and IGVs, with in-depth knowledge of their design, performance, and manufacturing processes.
- 10+ years of specialized experience in integrally geared compressors, with strong involvement in R&D projects and product improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in advanced CAD and PLM tools, particularly NX and Teamcenter, and familiarity with SAP for engineering-related workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for technical documentation and reporting.
- Strong background in pipe system design and pipe stress analysis, as well as lubrication systems, seal gas systems, and heat exchanger design and troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
- Apply strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
