

Produces HVAC, fire, security and building automation systems to optimize and protect buildings globally.
The skilled technician will install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, schematics, and product manuals, supervising equipment installation, and ensuring compliance with contract specifications. The role also requires completing certification courses, documenting all tasks promptly, and utilizing technical resources efficiently. Work may involve climbing ladders, scaffolding, and accessing confined spaces up to 40 feet.
Candidates must have 3–5 years of documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety, access control, and CCTV. A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree or NICET Level II certification is preferred. Physical ability to lift 50–70 lb, work at heights, and travel on rotating on‑call schedules is essential, as is a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug testing. Basic knowledge of networking concepts and the ability to obtain a Louisiana fire license within 90 days are also required.
