The Assistant Site Operations Lead (Assistant Workplace Lead) supports workplace services and delivers an exceptional experience for BHP residents, visitors, and VIP guests, following direction from the Senior Workplace Lead.
The role drives a high‑performance service culture, ensuring client commitments and service standards are met and exceeded, while providing coaching, development, performance management, training plans, certifications, and regular one‑on‑one engagement.
The incumbent ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and training requirements, maintains up‑to‑date certifications, and provides fair access to development opportunities, while overseeing front‑of‑house standards, visitor management, communications, and escalation handling.
Responsibilities include managing concierge and workplace operations—rostering, scripts, audits, task coordination, and daily service readiness—partnering with senior leaders on projects, overseeing facility coordination with cleaning contractors, conducting daily floor walks, and supporting meetings, VIP events, leadership engagements, vendor management, staffing coverage and after‑hours requirements.
Additional duties cover mailroom and distribution operations, maintaining timelines, procedures and documentation, continuously reviewing and improving workplace systems and processes, providing operational backfill, and building team capability for future growth.
The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality and corporate customer‑service skills, team‑management experience, exposure to facility‑management services, stakeholder‑management ability, professional written and verbal communication, multi‑tasking, time‑management, strong administration and PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), contractor‑management experience, and self‑motivation with flexibility.
