Collaborate with global R&D teams on process improvements and product development efforts.
Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, reduce cycle time, and optimize costs.
Lead projects to design, justify, and implement new equipment and capital expenditures.
Help shape the future of advanced materials manufacturing.
Partner with production teams to improve processes, methods, and operating conditions.
Obtain quotes, write Capital Expense Requests (CERs), and oversee installation of equipment/tooling.
Act as a leader on the production floor, modeling company culture and safety standards.
Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Lead technical projects with visibility across production and R&D teams.
Review production performance (safety, quality, scrap, rework) and implement corrective actions.
Audit tooling processes, inventory, and quality; ensure compliance with procedures.

Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
Experience with Statistics, DOE, and process optimization.
SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and multitask.
2 – 4 years of industry experience in process engineering or polymer processing Preferred - preferably in stock shapes and advanced materials
Ability to collaborate across functions (Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Production, Business).
Excellent communication skills—both written and oral.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $94,500. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
