Develop project execution best practices for transportation projects
Work with BUL’s and Transportation Leads to evaluate and augment current skill base to optimize performance of current and future projects.
Support and drive the advancement of project management training programs specific to transportation (at all levels of experience).
Establish operational KPI metrics to track project and program performance
Report KPI of Transportation projects and programs to the Operations Leadership and the Transportation Practice Lead.
Implement and standardize project management methodologies to provide early warning signals for potential issues/risks and significantly improve project delivery quality and efficiency
Continually assess the current Transportation practice services and staff resources, including team strengths and weaknesses through project reviews.
Facilitate an advanced project review process that 1) verifies project set-up, 2) ensures project compliance kick-off meetings occur, 3) accesses and compares financial metrics on similar projects, 4) evaluates resource allocation to projects, 5) tracks project performance and 6) supports project close-outs.
