Coordinate designs with other engineering and design disciplines under supervision
Support senior staff by performing technical tasks, documentation updates, and design revisions
Assist in preparing design and construction documentation
Assist with the design of building technology systems, including pathway drawings, lowvoltage device layouts, telecommunications outlet plans, system riser diagrams, and technical specifications
Learn and apply Stantec and client standards through design reviews and feedback
Support the design of systems such as: Video surveillance and electronic security systems
Participate in site visits, onsite assessments, and meetings as required
Work with project team members to understand project requirements and design constraints
Assist with the preparation of tender drawings and specifications

Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
Experience with Revit or a strong willingness to develop proficiency
Good verbal communication and technical writing skills
Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) TIA, BICSI, and ASIS standards
Structured cabling and data network systems
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
1–2 years of relevant experience in building technology, lowvoltage systems, or related design environment
Basic knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards
Paging and telephony systems
