The Product Engineer intern will support the Maintenance of Line (MoL) Engineering team by providing sustaining engineering assistance for overhead and underground medium‑voltage reclosers, fault interrupters, and switches. Under the guidance of seasoned engineers, the intern will conduct analysis, create detailed designs, execute verification tests, and contribute to projects that improve product cost, performance, and engineering processes.
During the internship you will develop and maintain product design data such as bills of material, 3D models, drawings, and specifications, support production and manufacturing engineering by resolving testing issues, and apply Design for Manufacture/Assembly principles. You will also learn to use CAD, finite‑element analysis, and statistical software while setting aggressive goals and measuring performance beyond expectations.
