Generate and release detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, field service, and other stake holders.
Support field service team and customer queries in urgent forced outage recovery programs.
Support field service team during planned outages including standard solutions, specific solutions and troubleshooting.
Evaluate non-conformance reports (NCRs) and define corrective actions.
Perform form, fit, and function studies to ensure design integrity and compatibility.

Ability to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis.
Ability to manage multiple manufacturing issues / projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ISO, DIN).
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Familiarity with steam turbine products or repair methods for major components.
Ability to coordinate directly with field service, manufacturing, quality, and network partners.
Significant hands-on experience in designing software like NX, Pro-E and AutoCAD etc.
Knowledge of SAP (product module) and Teamcenter.
Extensive knowledge of steam turbine design: turbine rotor, casings, blades, gland seal components, bolting, bearings & pedestals, steam valves etc.
Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Production engineering.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance or direction.
12 to 16 years of engineering or manufacturing experience, preferably in Turbomachinery domain.
Flexibility to travel as required by the projects and customers.
Interpersonal skills, both written and verbal for the English language & ability to work in a global team environment
