The Manager of Product Development & Engineering Systems is tasked with executing the strategic vision and providing technical leadership for Global Product Development & Engineering systems and related processes. This role oversees the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of platforms such as PPM, CAD/engineering technology, and SAP BPC, driving integration and efficiency across core systems.
In this position you will lead the development and execution of portfolio, project, and engineering system improvements that enhance speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. Responsibilities include delivering actionable insights through metrics and dashboards, guiding strategic decision‑making, and providing technical leadership for engineering change control and system roadmaps.
- Lead portfolio, project, and engineering system improvements to boost efficiency and speed to market.
- Define, monitor, and report key metrics; create dashboards and analytics for informed decision‑making.
- Drive cross‑functional SAP BPC enhancements for product development organizations.
- Provide technical leadership for engineering change control and integration with manufacturing and suppliers.
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and manufacturing to develop a future‑focused system technology roadmap.
- Develop and enforce global system standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage software configuration changes, testing, and deployment with vendors (e.g., MS Project Online, SharePoint, QlikView, SQL, SAP, Jira, Altium, Ansys).
- Produce change‑management documentation for IT support of system updates.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least six years of relevant experience, including four years leading enterprise‑level PPM systems in a global organization. Required expertise includes MS Project Online, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform tools, and experience integrating SAP data with analytics platforms.

- Minimum 6 years of engineering/product development experience, including 4 years leading global enterprise PPM systems.
- Expert configuration skills with MS Project Online, SharePoint Online, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and Azure services.
- Experience merging SAP R3 data with MS Project/SQL and building QlikView analytics.
- Strong ability to design portfolio dashboards, analyze ROI metrics, and troubleshoot technology issues.
- Proven capability to manage change, lead complex projects, and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, technical writing, and instruction development.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
