Corporate Accounting Manager

Description

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you’ll oversee the monthly close and play a key role in quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs). This position partners closely with external auditors, ensures SOX compliance, and helps drive process improvements across financial reporting and controls.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain and enhance SOX controls and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve close and reporting efficiency
• Support and review SEC filings, including 10-Ks and 10-Qs
• Lead and develop accounting staff while remaining hands-on
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience with direct U.S. SEC reporting exposure
• Experience supporting audits and SOX compliance
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Background in public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm preferred)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
• CPA preferred
