The Sales Channel Manager – Coops Channel is responsible for developing, managing, and growing GTRC’s business within the Cooperative Societies (Coops) channel in Kuwait. The role focuses on driving sales performance, strengthening relationships with Coop management, ensuring effective execution of trade plans, and achieving volume, value, and profitability targets in line with company strategy.
The manager will develop and execute the sales strategy, identify growth opportunities, and prepare annual channel plans, forecasts and budgets aligned with company targets. They will drive the achievement of volume, value, distribution and profitability targets while monitoring performance, analyzing trends and applying corrective actions. Effective implementation of promotions, pricing strategies and trade activities across all Coop outlets will be ensured, along with optimal product availability, visibility and shelf presence.
Leadership responsibilities include coaching the Coops sales team, setting clear objectives, conducting performance reviews and ensuring compliance with policies and ethical standards. The manager will coordinate with Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance to execute sales and promotional plans, monitor stock levels and minimize out‑of‑stock situations. Regular sales reports, market insights and competitor analysis will be presented to senior management. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field and possess 6‑8 years of FMCG sales experience in Kuwait’s Coops channel, with proven team‑leadership capabilities and deep knowledge of Coop commercial practices.
