Regular co-ordination with Subcontractor for shop drawings related to there scope of works and reviewing the submitted drawings of subcontractors before client submission
Work in under pressure in line with drawing schedule as per client requirements
Ensuring all information to be incorporating in shop drawing & preparing for final submission
Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information
Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, compliance to standards, fits and stack-ups
Work from drawings, sketches, scanned images, customer drawings or specifications.
Carry out detailed site surveys and highlight any discrepancies between actual and design
Raising design RFI’s with Project team who can raise the design RFI to client and consultants
Use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines
Taking quantity from drawing & comparing with BOQ
Highlighting the scope gap between IFC drawings and BOQ to project QS
Reviewing and Co-ordinating the architectural drawing with MEP drawing
Work with CAD systems for creating, modifying, and issuing drawings
Co-ordinating with MEP, Project and Estimating team for regular updates
Prepare submissions of requisite documents and coordinate for project approval
Share regular updates on the project approval process with the Manager and seek guidance as required
Manage the issuing and filing of drawings using standard drawings issue sheets
Ensure drawings revision and amendments are accurately noted on the drawings and communicated to all stake holders
Ensuring subcontractors drawings are checked and verified before submission and ensuring inhouse drawings are coordinated with subcontractor shop drawings
Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations
Preparation of coordinated shop drawings which should be in line with project specification, IFC drawings and as per site condition
