Participate in all assigned Health and Safety training programs.

Prepare comprehensive technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation

Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess project requirements and constraints
Develop and review roadway designs, traffic impact studies, and transportation plans
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national transportation standards and regulations
Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety codes, guidelines, and regulations forming our Health Safety & Environmental management system; and
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient project delivery
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
Utilize advanced engineering software and CAD tools to create detailed design plans and specifications
Lead and manage transportation engineering projects from conception to completion
Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate project progress and technical solutions

Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team;
Completion of a university degree in Civil Engineering;
Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to think creatively;
Demonstrated abilities in multidisciplinary project teamwork and coordination;
Ability to read and understand survey plans and drawings;
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software would be considered an asset;
Excellent field negotiation and problem-solving skills;
Demonstrated experience with Alberta Transportation design guidelines and construction specifications;
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada;
Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance; and
Minimum 10 years’ of progressive consulting experience completing transportation projects for Alberta Transportation or Municipal clients;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
Available to travel, evenings and weekends may be necessary;
