In this role you will collaborate with engineers, modellers, environmental scientists and other specialists to deliver high‑quality water and wastewater projects. You will contribute across all design stages, applying creative and practical thinking to solve real‑world engineering challenges while ensuring designs meet standards and best practice. You will lead the technical delivery of key projects, manage scope, budget and timelines, and build strong client relationships through regular updates and technical guidance. Mentoring and supporting early‑career professionals will also be a core part of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and possesses proven Principal‑level experience in the water sector. Chartered or incorporated status with ICE, CIWEM or a similar institution, or progression towards it, is required. Experience includes engineering assessments, options and economic appraisals, as well as outline and detailed design of water and wastewater treatment schemes.
