- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and customization of damper solutions.
- Work with customers and internal engineering teams to assess system requirements and design customized solutions that meet customer needs.
- Provide technical consultation and product recommendations based on customer needs and specifications.
- Provide technical support during the installation process and help clients troubleshoot problems with installed products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Occasional lifting of product samples or promotional materials (up to 25 lbs.).
- May require occasional work outside standard business hours to meet client needs or attend events.
- Maintain awareness and regularly talk and listen.
- Assist the sales team by developing proposals and bids in response to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Answer technical questions and address technical objections during the sales cycle.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and competitor products.

- Ability to safely and successfully perform all essential job functions, meet attendance expectations, and comply with all personnel policies and procedures.
- Previous experience working in an ISO certified facility preferred.
- Strong understanding of damper types (e.g., control, backdraft, fire/smoke) and their applications would be preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to travel and hold a current passport, occasional travel.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings, presentations, and travel.
- A minimum of an Associate or higher in engineering, design technology, mechatronics, or similar related fields will be considered.
- Advanced Mathematical Skills: Algebra and Geometry, Working knowledge of both the Metric and Imperial systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials used in damper fabrication.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Computer navigation, SharePoint or shared networking, ERP Systems (D365), Microsoft applications, and CRM packages.
- Use of hands and fingers for computer work, technical documentation, and product handling.
- Exposure to industrial environments including noise, dust, and moving machinery and material handling equipment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Walking and standing during site visits, trade shows, and facility tours.
- Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- 2+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in HVAC or industrial equipment.
- Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Manufacturing and offices are climate controlled
- Primarily office-based with hybrid options to work from home with regular travel to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and industry events.
