Multiskilled Electrical Engineer

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of building services, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard at all times.

• Liaise directly with clients, tenants, and site management in a professional and courteous manner
• Undertake basic fabric maintenance where required (e.g. minor repairs, doors, fixtures, finishes)
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults
• Accurately complete job reports, paperwork, and system updates
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

Requirements

PRS are working with one of our clients in looking for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join a well-established site in Hemel Hempstead. This is a client-facing position, working across a mixed-use environment that includes retail and landlord-controlled areas.

• Comfortable in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant maintenance responsibilities
• Presentable, professional, and reliable
• Understand and work within the boundaries of landlord vs retail responsibilities
• Mechanically or electrically biased, but confidently multiskilled
• Able to carry out basic fabric works alongside core engineering duties
• Proven experience working in a commercial or retail environment

Benefits

Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 per annum

• Saturday cover required every other week
• A lieu day will be provided (8:30–17:30)
• Flexible to support alternate Saturday cover
