Operations is at the heart of keeping the strategic road network moving and ensuring our customers get the best possible experience when using our roads.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join National Highways as a Scheme Co-ordinator to support the delivery of construction schemes, by ensuring all relevant H&S and scheme completion documentation and data capture are effectively planned, coordinated, stored and controlled.
We address over 39,000 customer enquiries every month, plan and deliver all maintenance activities on the network, drive efficiencies and improvements across our systems and roads, and respond to incidents across 4,500 miles of motorways and major A-roads that we manage. All to make sure National Highways customers have safer, smoother, and more reliable journeys.
- Coordinate and secure Roadspace bookings, managing Clash Analysis reports to ensure confirmed access and enable efficient scheme delivery.
- Prepare and issue scheme completion documentation promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
- Attend and contribute to construction planning and programming meetings, ensuring that health, safety, and wellbeing considerations are fully integrated throughout all project activities.
- Support the development of Health and Safety (H&S) files through the accurate and timely collation of required data.
- Ensure the completion, collation, and secure storage of all construction scheme documentation and data within the appropriate databases and systems.
