  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that risk management activities are aligned with overall project goals.
  • Proactively identify potential risks across all project phases (design, construction, commissioning, and handover), including safety, schedule, cost, quality, and environmental concerns.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks on project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all risk-related activities, including risk assessments, mitigation plans, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure all parties are aware of and adhere to risk management protocols.
  • Ensure risk controls and mitigation measures are integrated into project planning and execution activities.
  • Lead the communication of risks to relevant stakeholders, providing regular updates on risk status, mitigation actions, and emerging threats.
  • Generate and present regular risk reports to senior management, highlighting key risks, mitigation progress, and recommendations.
  • Work with project teams to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks and prioritize them based on severity.
  • Support audits and reviews of the project’s risk management processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk workshops and sessions with project stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive identification and analysis of potential risks.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of implemented risk controls and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register, documenting all identified risks, their status, and mitigation actions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the project’s Risk Management Plan, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and objectives.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks before they impact the project.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., risk assessment software, FMEA, Monte Carlo simulation).
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Previous experience in managing risks within the aviation, construction, or transportation sectors is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments, managing multiple risks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with risk management software tools (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran) is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with construction or airport-specific risk management frameworks and standards.
  • Professional certification in risk management (e.g., PMP, RMP, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Awareness of health, safety, environmental regulations, and compliance in the construction and aviation sectors.
