Completing bridge designs, load ratings, calculations, construction plans, specifications and schedules required for project submissions (e.g., PennDOT Type, Size and Location Submissions, Final Plans Submissions, and the Final Plans, Specifications and Estimate package).
Managing and leading bridge rehabilitation and/or replacement design projects from inception to completion. Coordinating with other transportation engineering disciplines such as traffic, highway, geotechnical, civil and environmental.
Supervising senior and junior level engineers. Interacting with internal and external clients.

A strong working knowledge of PennDOT software, design manuals and standards and/or other modeling software for single and multi-span steel, prestressed concrete, concrete and timber superstructures, and concrete substructures with shallow and deep foundations
Experience with all design phases of urban and rural bridge repair, rehabilitation, reconstruction and full replacement projects.
Years of experience: 10 or more.
Knowledge of the PennDOT project management process.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for proposal pursuits, construction specification writing and client interaction, as well as knowledge of the PennDOT ECMS system.
