Undertake presentations on GIS, Data and Visualisation.
Manage the performance of team members and sub-contractors, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues.
Coordinating work for GDV staff based in the UK and overseas
Work with the GDV team to deliver GIS and Visualisation deliverables to tight deadlines.
Prepare, check and approve technical reports, drawings, data platforms
Providing GIS technical mentorship to GIS staff including team leaders and Principal and Senior grade staff.
Undertake quality control of GIS and Visualisation work undertaken by other GDV staff.
Travel to other offices for business development and project meetings.
Contribute to the technical development of the GDV team through sharing ideas and innovations.
Build strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Skills in Python (including ArcPy and data science libraries), with additional experience in .NET, Java or modern JavaScript libraries.
Ideally has worked with other environmental specialisms such as Ecology and Nature Based Solutions teams.

Has an in depth understanding of landscape / townscape and visual impact assessment and the specialist requirements for associated visualisation and modelling.
We are looking for someone who:
Knowledge of real-time processes and related software such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
Excellent technical knowledge and experience of ESRI ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise at version 10.5 and above. Experience of ESRI ArcGIS Pro.
Experience with ESRI stack, particularly ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Enterprise.
Is passionate about Geospatial, Data and Visualisation applications in spatial design, planning and environmental consultancy.
Have recognised expertise in Geospatial discipline with well-established industry network.
Experience working in 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 3DS Max or Revit.
Experience of promoting Geospatial via presentations and networking.
AI literacy, with the ability to communicate concepts clearly and support skill development.
Ability to identify innovative solutions to problems and act on these to add value to clients and develop the Geospatial business.
Experience of mentoring junior staff.
Able to communicate new concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues including effective use of English orally and in writing.
Has strong business development skills, with a proven track record of successfully winning work.
Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and data formats and an understanding of how these support the delivery of engineering and environmental design.
Experience of preparing Geospatial technical written content.
Is an excellent manager and has strong people skills.
Experience with Enterprise Geodatabases, databases and SQL for handling large datasets.
Experience of working with resource teams in the UK and overseas.
Experience working within the Environmental Consultancy Sector.
Ability to work within commercial constraints to provide output on budget and programme.
A relevant degree in GIS, computer sciences, geography or other relevant subject, with advanced knowledge of GIS software or work experience and qualifications reflecting a similar level of expertise.
Excellent people management/pastoral skills and experience of leading and managing large diverse teams to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
