Lead and manage delivery of large, complex infrastructure projects from concept to construction.
Assembling and owning the project delivery programme and delivery plans.
Identifying and managing any matters that could pose potential contractual/commercial risks to AtkinsRéalis, as well as those of our clients and project stakeholders.
Closing out the project on completion, archiving project documentation, updating market information, ensuring that lessons learnt are captured and disseminated internally and ensuring that a Client Satisfaction survey is initiated. Support business development activities in line with our market strategies and governance.
Contributing to team management, growth and development.
Comparing revenue with predicted costs and identifying risk allowances, margin and provisions, including Earned Value reporting.
Leading the project team – building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding and developing the team.
Taking a strategic lead role as PM or PD to deliver large and/or complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Form strong working relationships with other AtkinsRealis disciplines, external design consultants, clients and stakeholders.
Ensure successful delivery to agreed targets, identifying and agreeing project objectives and developing a strategy for achieving these.
Facilitating communication, co-ordination, and information flow with the Client and within the project team, including any subcontractors and partners (internal and external)

Experience of managing design projects to time, cost and quality objectives and familiar with earned value techniques.

Chartered Engineer/Scientist/PM or equivalent with demonstrable experience managing design commissions or design and build contracts on large infrastructure projects.
Experience in deploying various forms of contract, in particular NEC3 or 4.
