- Assess and evaluate suppliers and participate in performance reviews to ensure contract compliance, initiating performance improvement activities as required.
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
- Research and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
- Gather supplier data, ensuring all necessary documentation is current and available.
- Manage the buying process for a set of goods in line with cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.
- Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and organizational requirements.
- Assess quotations from potential suppliers.
- Manage problems and schedule changes, ensuring changes are reflected within ERP systems.
- Ensure the continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
- Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
- Responsible for material control and management, including chain of custody and appropriate documentation. Manage direct deliveries and drop shipments.

- 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management
