  • Managing client relationships.
  • Take care of your own safety & of others by using the appropriate health and safety procedure and appropriate use of PPE.
  • So far as is reasonably practicable, ensure that safe systems of work are followed, including application of appropriate Risk Assessments and Method Statements, both our clients and our own. Where safe systems of work are not deemed appropriate, the Regional Engineering Manager must be advised.
  • Actively promote HSB Services in your interactions with clients.
  • Ensure that all plant on the Contract Schedule for the allocated service area is examined/inspected in accordance with applicable standards or accepted codes of practice, with reports compiled to the standard required.
  • Maintain an awareness of developments in technical standards and legislation affecting the appropriate discipline and support change as required (suitable and sufficient levels of CPD to maintain profession competency).
  • Prioritizing and bringing about decisions.
  • You will be required to manage your work efficiently maintaining schedule inspection dates and achieving operational performance metrics.
  • Customer connection: Build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to clients.
  • Provide training for other Engineer Surveyors as required, sharing knowledge and experiences.
  • Ensure full meaningful work days by planning and arranging all work related activities in an effective, timely and efficient manner, with an accurate account of all time involved being recorded.
  • Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that all customer service standards are met.

  • Customer focused
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a suitable Engineering or related STEM subject.
  • Self-motivated, driven and able to take initiative
  • 5 years of suitable experience in an Engineering related field.
  • Results orientated delivering measurable performance.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experienced at work planning & time management.
  • Be familiar & adhere with the Health and Safety Regulations and Company policies applicable to the area of responsibility.
  • Good IT skills and able to operate Microsoft packages
  • Able to work unsupervised and under your own initiative.
  • Stay connected with Mobile phone and tablet devices provided for work
  • Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations, such as, LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, and British Standards. Ability to follow and apply statutory requirements and guidelines and company defined policies, processes and procedures.
  • Holder of UK Driving licence, no more than 6 points.
  • Good communicator
  • LEV Equipment defined in COSHH
  • A flexible mindset and commitment to working safely and effectively across varied environments
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine drive to deliver outstanding service
  • Equipment defined in PUWER as Applied to Power Presses
