The role requires working in a team environment as a key member of a survey crew, assisting with boundary, ALTA, topographic, right‑of‑way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, and construction surveys using the latest equipment and technology, and the ability to supervise the crew or work independently when needed.
Candidates must have at least two years of survey experience and a high school diploma, strong mathematical, computer, and data collector skills, and proficiency with Topcon and Trimble equipment (GPS, robotics, total stations, levels, and data collectors) as well as Carlson SurvCE and Trimble Survey Controller software. Good communication skills, a valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a drug test, and dependability are required. Experience with electric transmission or oil and gas transmission projects, and the ability to obtain a security clearance are considered a plus.
The position offers opportunities for advancement for a motivated individual willing to grow with the evolving skills and technology required of a Land Surveyor.
