As a CMV Producibility Manufacturing Engineer you will drive continuous improvement, support production and new‑product‑introduction activities, and provide technical leadership to integrate new products while building capability across the wider team. The role requires delivering robust, efficient and safe manufacturing solutions throughout the product life‑cycle.
You will develop and assure manufacturing solutions that meet specifications and standards, plan and deliver technical work packages on time and budget, and collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and other stakeholders to embed best practice. You will also define verification and qualification strategies, resolve emerging technical issues, capture and reuse manufacturing knowledge, and support production, build, maintenance and decommissioning activities.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, possess relevant technical expertise, and be able to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking to complex problems. Experience in product integrity, design safety justification, development of methods, standards and processes, and membership of a professional engineering body are also required.
Applicants must be able to obtain a Security Check clearance (support will be provided) and be a UK national or a MoD‑approved dual national. Rolls‑Royce Submarines offers a Grade 7/10 position with salary dependent on experience, and encourages candidates to inform their current manager of the application.
