Senior Engineering Project Manager

Description

The Senior Project Manager oversees the management of all activities associated with the assigned glass/cladding related projects, including related shop, plant and site staff, suppliers and subcontractor’s responsibilities. They will engage in high-level communications with client, architect, main contractor, consultants and support staff towards the execution of timely, efficient, cost-effective works. The Senior Project Manager provides oversight and support for the work done by the Project Manager.

• Ensure that all engineering / technical specifications, contract requirements are followed. Oversee project schedules and ensures compliance with contract conditions
• Ensure that architect's drawings, calculations and specifications are received on schedule and are confirmed as approved for construction.
• Act as the Project Manager if there is a need or absence.
• Ensure that all project matters are coordinated, and problems encountered during project proceeding during onsite installation, are addressed and rectified.
• Envisage installation/erection methods and equipment.
• Support, mentor, and coach Project Managers and Assistant Project
• Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with staff, projects and proprietary information.

Requirements

• 6-10 years’ experience in a series of progressive engineering role(s) with demonstrably increasing scope of responsibility, with a solid track record of successfully delivering at least 5 projects and leading people required.
• EIT certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or an Engineering-related degree required

Benefits

Compensation: $125,000 - $170,000
