The Assistant Preconstruction Analyst supports corporate pre‑construction work by organizing cost data, assisting the Preconstruction Technology Manager with database maintenance and data model creation, and analyzing data sets to identify patterns, risks, and insights. Findings are communicated through dashboards, reports, written analysis, or presentations, and the role may require up to 10% travel.
Key duties include collecting and cleaning data from multiple sources, performing project‑specific research, documenting business processes, applying statistical methods and visualization tools, and producing clear reports and dashboards for users, focus groups, and leadership using Power BI, Excel, and related applications.
The analyst ensures data quality, collaborates with cross‑functional teams—including end users, data engineers, business analysts, vendors, and leadership—to define requirements and deliver actionable insights, stays current with industry trends, and provides training documentation and support for technology issues.
- Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s or associate degree in construction management, engineering, computer science, finance, statistics, or a related field, and have 1‑3 years of experience in data analysis or construction‑related roles. Strong plan‑reading skills, expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with Microsoft Office and construction software, knowledge of data transformation and visualization tools, and a valid driver’s license are required. The position is office‑based with standard physical demands and occasional travel.
