Commercial Project Manager (Finance)

Description

• Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing.
• Identifies, assesses, responds, monitors, reports, escalates all commercial risks & opportunities.
• Manage project financials based on contractual developments and plant operations.
• Prepares the monthly financial forecasts and annual project financial plans and business case calculations for proposals and change orders.
• Together with the Project Manager prepares quarterly status meetings and presents project financials to management and ensures the accuracy of the cost and price calculation.
• Ensures compliance with Siemens Energy and local accounting guidelines.

Requirements

• Candidate should be able to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial internal customers.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
• 5+ years of work experience in a selection of finance functions in the fields of performance controlling, accounting, financial audit, reporting or commercial project management.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office application (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with SAP and Alteryx and Tableau experience / desire to learn.
• BA/BS Degree or higher required in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines is required.
