- Apply engineering principles and statistics to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Lead multiple projects in a cross-functional environment while delivering positive, effective results.
- Lead collaborations with cross-functional partners to develop packaging solutions that balance cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Build strong relationships with key platform and functional partners in order to support new product launches and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Develop technical packaging material knowledge of a wide variety of materials and applications.
- Provide effective communication and documentation of work including test reports, cost analyses, and 2D/3D CAD concepts.
- Conduct and/or manage packaging testing, trials, and analyses to validate and advance packaging opportunities.

- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Adept at critical thinking and problem solving

- ASTM or ISTA test standards and procedures
- Previous experience in or with Packaging Design/Engineering for industrial products/applications
- CAD experience
- Juniors and Seniors preferred (Graduating between May 2027 – June 2028)
- Strong interpersonal communication

- Hourly rate for our Engineering Co-op positions is $25.00/hour.
- Interns and Co-ops who demonstrate outstanding performance may be offered a subsequent internship/co-op or full-time offer of employment with nVent
