- License/certification in technical discipline is preferred
- Demonstrates knowledge of the discipline’s technical processes
- Familiarity with Environmental/Bridge permitting and State DOT required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel as well as ArcMap or basic GIS Mapping required
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes
- CADOT and MADOT familiarity strongly preferred
- Must be able to physically navigate in the field
- An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
- Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
- Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company
- Experience with project budgeting preferred
- Minimum of 10 years’ related experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred
- Has proficient theoretical scientific knowledge
- Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency
- Valid US driver's license required
- Must have the ability to work in the field in different weather conditions
