The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person and through virtual platforms.
Perform occasional field inspections or testing and assist with special inspections when required.
Participate in team meetings and training and provide informal mentorship to field technicians when appropriate.
Support project management activities from proposal through completion, helping to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met under the guidance of a Project Managers .
Review time sheets and field reports for accuracy and ensure timely submission of basic project documentation.
Maintain clear communication with clients and contractors, responding to routine questions and elevating complex issues to PMs as needed.
Monitor project costs and budgets in coordination with senior staff; assist with tracking revenue and project performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, laboratory, and operations, to support successful project delivery.
Support technical oversight by reviewing field and lab results for accuracy and ensuring work follows applicable standards (ASTM, ACI, ICC) under Project Managers supervision.
Help prepare routine reports and technical documents for internal and external stakeholders with review by Project Managers.
Coordinate daily project needs, including scheduling field technicians and support staff to meet project requirements efficiently.
Assist with developing project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work in collaboration with technical teams and Project Managers.
Assist with identifying additional project opportunities by observing client needs and communicating them to Project Managers.
Promote and follow all company safety protocols and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements on job sites.

Familiarity with engineering, construction, or environmental services terminology and workflows ispreferred.
Certifications: Certifications in relevant testing or inspection areas (e.g., ACI, ICC, ATTI, Nuclear Safety) preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with project managementsoftware (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com) is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction materials testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO) and the ability to interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or operations within a technical orservice-based industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; willingness to travel to job sites and work in diverse environmental conditions as needed.
