Intern engineers will support engineering teams by assisting with research, development, and design tasks. They will help prepare engineering drawings and documentation and perform other assigned duties as needed. The role offers exposure to introductory shop‑drawing and submittal procedures and basic engineering calculations.
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program and have a high school diploma or GED. They should possess a basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and be able to organize information for drawings. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of engineering coursework and experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, as well as a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure.
