The Manufacturing Technician I – 2nd Shift (Structure Line) assembles, fits, and mounts sub‑assemblies, components, and standard or near‑standard fixed assemblies in Motor Control Centers, Enclosed Control, and related assemblies. The role includes preparing units for testing and final inspection, wiring relay panels, panel boards, space heaters, and control panels, bending and installing power cable and leads, and fabricating pre‑cable units, panel and MTB harnesses.
The technician works from oral or written instructions, uses manufacturing information sheets to determine parts, reads shop orders and drawings to plan assembly procedures, assembles and fits components into sub‑assemblies or final units, wires control devices, adjusts alignments, installs various units and bus work, fabricates cable and harness assemblies, and modifies standard assemblies as needed.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution and reside within a 50‑mile radius of Fayetteville, NC (active‑duty military are exempt).
