We are seeking a Security Access Control Installation Technician to support construction projects by installing, terminating, and commissioning security, access control, voice/data, and other low‑voltage systems for our customers. Key responsibilities include drilling holes, routing cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits, mounting and fastening control panels, and testing and repairing circuits, sensors, batteries, keypads, and annunciators according to system specifications. Technicians must acquire and maintain required tools, use equipment such as fish tape and ohmmeters, track daily time via ExakTime, and meet installation deadlines set by project managers. They must also ensure full compliance with company and customer safety programs, may travel out of town, and can direct other installers when assigned.
Applicants need 6 months to 3 years of experience installing access control systems, with proficiency in wiring, programming, and testing devices. Participation in DynaFire‑sponsored training is required, and candidates may be asked to serve as trainers or pursue manufacturing certification for DynaFire low‑voltage systems.
