Responsible for completing timecards accurately and on time.
Understand and follow safety procedures and practices and work safely to comply with all regulations. Wear appropriate clothing and adhere to site-specific PPE or OSHA requirements.
Responsible for keeping the survey truck clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Assist Crew Chief with all field operations, survey computations, data accuracy, staking projects for construction, data processing, record maintenance, and organizing data files, field books, and equipment.
Refer to skill matrix for technical requirements for I-II-III positions.
Responsible for equipment maintenance and charging batteries daily.
Interact with team, clients, and vendors professionally, care for the EPS Group brand and culture.
Use and care for hand tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Gather, process, and verify field data.
Accountable for situational success and resolve readily identifiable problems with limited scope following standard practices, procedures, and processes.

Understand and follow company practices and processes to perform tasks on time and within budget. Follow specific, outlined, and detailed directions. Work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy.
Ability to operate survey field equipment daily.
This position may require outdoor work, ranging from extreme heat to below freezing temperatures and the potential for uneven terrain.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
Able to sit for an extended period while in transit to job sites.
Equipment Knowledge and Maintenance
Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching during office work and prolonged standing with a significant amount of time spent bending, squatting, and reaching when working in the field.
Required to stand, walk, and sit.
Ability to perform physical labor (i.e., strenuous walking, lifting, and hauling equipment) daily. Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must be able to lift 100 lbs. when performing fieldwork.
No prior experience required.
Understand and use survey equipment, standards, and terminology.
Noise levels are consistent with a standard office environment when working in an office. However, when working in the field, noise levels vary from ambient outdoor levels to those requiring ear protection.
High School Diploma or GED.
Requires a regular and normal range of hearing.
