- Support the Principal Environmental Advisor in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the compliance Environmental Management System (EMS), compliance frameworks and audit schedules.
- Where requested, conduct ICAM investigations into potential incidents and non-compliances across the IR Program.
- Lead site inspections and audits across Inland Rail projects to ensure compliance with approvals, permits and licenses.
- Coordinate environmental reporting at both project and program levels, including metrics, performance targets, registers and compliance tracking.
- Provide technical input into environmental compliance frameworks, planning documents and management strategies.
- Maintain the EMS and carry out regular audits and quality checks.
- Travel to Inland Rail’s sites as required.

- Proficient personal organisation, written communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or an environmentally related discipline.

- Previous experience in environment compliance ideally within infrastructure, construction, or rail projects.
