The Bungalows at Springdale is seeking a Facilities Director who will report to the Executive Director and oversee all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, and security, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, local laws and Phoenix standards.
The Director will plan, organize, and lead operations, handle minor repairs, respond to building emergencies, coordinate with external vendors, monitor maintenance logs, inspect the building façade, manage large‑scale projects, and oversee HVAC and fire protection systems to maintain air quality and safety.
Additional duties include providing technical training to other communities, managing departmental staffing through recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining, reviewing timekeeping and payroll reports, and participating in regular meetings such as stand‑ups, cross‑overs, and town halls.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of supervisory experience and three years of facilities experience with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, a valid driver’s license, and any required state certification; experience with water‑heat source pumps is preferred.
