Maintenance Technician - Coconut Creek

Description

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating/cooling system repairs as needed.
• Ensure all service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for lease, including cleaning when needed.
• Report any building, ground, or system issue to the supervisor for corrective action.
• Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, administrative staff, and vendors.
• Work a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Forest Properties Management, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to work at our Coconut Creek property. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out corrective, preventative, cosmetic, and emergency property maintenance. The qualified candidate will work with a team of technicians to assist in their daily responsibilities performing all necessary maintenance for the apartment community.

• HVAC certification and appliance repair experience required.
• Minimum one year experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs or more and perform physical tasks such as walking, crouching, bending, reaching small spaces, and standing for prolonged periods.
• Good organizational skills with ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Provide own tools and have reliable transportation.
• Eligibility to work in the USA and provide proof.
