The Maintenance Assistant is an entry‑level position that supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment in assigned facilities. Working under supervision, the role emphasizes safety and offers growth opportunities in engineering.
Typical duties include assisting the engineering team, performing general maintenance such as carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting, completing work orders in the CMMS, and maintaining tools and supplies in clean, safe conditions.
- Assist engineering team with maintenance and repair of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
- Perform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
- Complete work orders in the CMMS and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Keep tools, parts, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.
- Support on‑call or emergency response situations as needed.
- Provide strong customer service interacting with building occupants.
